Forced Air Furnace and a replacement air damper, Power Open
HMI Hoyme Manufacturing Inc. Special Note: Circuits are colored for clarification only and are not necessarily those found in actual installations.

Diagram #4A: Forced Air Furnace having a replacement air supply duct.
ADDED: Power Open Replacement Air Control Damper (HAC-0x10-OPO).
OPERATION: 1. Replacement air damper is interconnected to the furnace so that the damper opens to provide fresh air during the heating cycle and closes to conserve energy when the fire stops. Damper remains closed irrespective of Furnace Fan operation. 2. If the damper is required to open other than during the heating cycle, a Single Pole- Double Throw (SPDT) Toggle Switch is required. Heat anticipator adjustment is then required on a regular type thermostat.
N.B. Replacement Air Damper is not affected by the ‘Manual’ setting of the furnace fan.
